Let us briefly introduce ourselves….

My name is Renate Raven (Chairman), and together with Shariënne Winterdaal (Secretary), we embarked on the adventure of establishing Fundashon Ultimo Deseo Aruba (Aruba Last Wish Foundation). A similar foundation has existed in the Netherlands and Curaçao for some time, and we are proud to have established it in Aruba.

Because transparency is a high priority for Aruba, we quickly decided we needed an independent Treasurer with extensive financial experience who could provide sound advice and guidance. Appointing Frans Gerritsen allows us to focus on other important matters.

We want to bring joy to people living in Aruba who are bedridden and terminally ill. These are people who are going through an incredibly difficult time in their lives, and we can help them fulfill one last dream, one last wish, free of charge. These are often very small desires that are priceless to these people, but which, due to their limited mobility, would otherwise not be possible. And not only them, but their loved ones will also have beautiful memories of this.

And that's what matters, and that's what we do it for. We hope Aruba gives us the opportunity to help as many people as possible!
